Biographical
Stephanie Chow mediates a wide range of complex civil disputes. She negotiates complex commercial settlements for major tech clients along with high growth startups. She facilitates closure of business negotiations in situations in which a deal may be in jeopardy as a result of impasse on specific issues, or where time deadlines dictate accelerated negotiations.
Stephanie has successfully mediated hundreds of cases with settlements in the tens of millions. Together with Antonio Piazza, Stephanie has resolved some of the largest, and most complex legal disputes domestic and international.
She is the founder of the firm’s Founder Advisory Program where she provides founders with strategies and advice on how to navigate direct negotiations. Managing negotiations starts with understanding the forces that perpetuate and exacerbate conflicts. She offers guidance on how to manage issues before they deteriorate into expensive distractions or become missed opportunities.
Stephanie is an adjunct professor at Columbia University where she teaches negotiation, mediation, and conflict analysis. Stephanie also teaches mediation at Stanford University.
Her legal background includes intellectual property work with Amazon and an externship with Judge Kozinski in the Ninth Circuit. She is a member of the California, New York, and Washington State Bar.
