Michael A. Weiss

Michael Weiss has been a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator since 2015.  Based in South Florida, he is adept at helping disputing parties develop options to resolve their conflicts.

Mike has legal experience that distinguishes him from many others in the region, having litigated and tried cases on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants.

“As a result, I truly understand both sides of the case,” he says. “My balanced experience provides me with an excellent background to be a mediator because I understand the issues and concerns of both sides better than most mediators. In short, I know how to speak to plaintiffs, defendants and insurance adjusters.”

Mike began his career defending personal injury and medical malpractice claims on behalf of insurance companies, corporations, physicians, hospitals, governmental entities and business owners. In 2005, Mike started representing only injured plaintiffs in cases involving personal injury and wrongful death matters, automobile accidents, funeral home/cemetery abuse, medical malpractice, slip/trip and fall, product liability and insurance disputes.  As a result of his balanced experience, Mike brings invaluable insight and knowledge to his mediation practice.
