Biographical
Craig Nierman is a commercial mediator and arbitrator with extensive experience in healthcare, insurance, tort, and business disputes. He serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Iowa College of Law, where he teaches Insurance and Arbitration.
A retired AV-rated litigator, Craig has represented plaintiffs and defendants in complex cases across multiple sectors. He is a frequent speaker at judicial conferences, law schools, and professional gatherings hosted by the American Bar Association, the American Academy of ADR Attorneys, and the American Arbitration Association, addressing topics in ADR, ethics, and insurance.
The Business Law textbook he co-authored is in its third edition; the ABA has published several of his feature-length articles, including a study examining the psychological differences between in-person and online mediation.
