Shane Munoz

With more than 30 years as an attorney practicing labor and employment law, Shane Muñoz now devotes all his professional time to serving as a neutral mediator. Shane is a Fellow in the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, a former Chair and current Executive Council Member of the Labor and Employment Law Section of The Florida Bar, listed in the Best Lawyers in America (Litigation – Labor and Employment, 2012-23), and in Florida Super Lawyers. Shane is a Member of The Florida Bar and the Connecticut Bar Association, and is admitted to practice in all federal and state courts in Florida and Connecticut, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Shane is Certified in Florida as a Circuit Civil Mediator, and certified as a mediator by the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Both as a litigator and in mediation, Shane has successfully resolved a wide range of labor and employment disputes, including disputes concerning wages, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblowing, disabilities, family and medical leave, COBRA, background checks, noncompete agreements and other contract claims, including class and collective actions.
