Biographical
Roger Jacobs is on the commercial,employment and labor panel at the American Arbitration Association as well as mediation;arbitration from FMCS, NYPERB, FINRA and New Jersey State Board of Mediation and panel of distinguished neutrals at CPR..
Mr. Jacobs also handles arbitration from U.S. District Court and is on the mediation rosterat EDNY;SDNY and DNJ and by private appointment of the parties.
Mr. Jacobs has also handled hundreds of meditations of disputes involving commercial, construction, real estate, employment, international and FINRA cases. The matters in dispute also include intellectual property issues e.g. restrictive covenants and trade secrets.
Taught collective barganing and negotiations at Fordham law school for twelve years
He has engaged in extensive discovery monitoring of cases. Mediation has primarily been through court appointment in New York Supreme Court,commercial part, Superior Court of New Jersey or U.S. District Court as well as from FINRA,AAA,CPR and private parties.
Roger is an IMI certified Mediator and regularly participates as a Judge at the ICC International Mediation competition in Paris.
He served six terms as Chairman of the NJ Educational Facilities Authority;the conduit finance agency for higher education in NJ and now serves as Chairman of the Advisory Board for NJTV
