Mr. Ward has participated in hundreds of mediations and arbitrations in a wide variety of cases. He is certified in mediations involving Superior Court cases, Workers Compensation, Family Law, including equitable distribution, child custody, and pre-nuptial issues, and mediations ordered through the Office of Administrative Hearings. He also has experience in Arbitrations involving civil and commercial matters. Mr. Ward has extensive experience in trial practice in all divisions of NC state and federal courts since 1973, specializing in contract disputes, business and commercial disputes, insurance, employment, personal injury and malpractice. He currently utilizes the vast majority of his time conducting mediations/arbitrations.

Rates Information

Our mediation rate is $250 per hour, with a 2-hour minimum, plus a $250 administrative fee. There is no charge for travel time within a 60-mile radius.  Effective January 1, 2020, for mediations outside a 60-mile radius, there will be a charge of $125 for each hour of travel.
