Biographical
Mr. Gelson is the founder of NJ Mediator Resolution Services, LLC. His current practice is devoted to serving as a Mediator in Civil matters, as well as a Court-Appointed Receiver and Discovery Master. Mr. Gelson was selected by the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on Complementary Dispute Resolution in 1995 to help develop a statewide alternative dispute resolution program that offered a viable alternative to the court system. Since that time he has mediated over 1200 cases to settlement. He is recognized in New Jersey and New York by the construction and employment bar and insurance companies as one of the premier mediators of construction and employment disputes.
As a reflection of his expertise and experience, Mr. Gelson has been recognized in New Jersey Monthly Magazine as a New Jersey Super Lawyer in the field of Arbitration and Mediation since 2005 and has been selected for inclusion in Best Lawyers of America in the field of construction and employment litigation. He was recently selected as one “New York Area’s Best Lawyers” by New York Magazine in the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution.
A significant portion of Mr. Gelson's practice includes mediating construction construction defect claims and employment disputes. He has an almost unblemished track record of resolving even the most complex and complicated construction disputes.
