BIOGRAPHICAL:

Bill's practice since graduating from law school in 1992 has covered a wide variety of areas.  He practiced for 8 years with Nexsen Pruet, handling disputes involving class actions, businesses, personal injury, construction, and general insurance defense.  In 2000, he started the firm, Lyles & Lyles, where he maintained a diverse practice, representing plaintiffs and defendants, while beginning a mediation practice.  In 2017, Bill opened up Bill Lyles Law, LLC, where he continues to practice law but focuses primarily on mediation and dispute resolution.   He has practiced in State and Federal Court in South Carolina and before courts in Texas and Alabama. Since mediation has become a substantial part of Bill’s practice, he has mediated over 500 cases, including 2 to 40-plus party matters with settlements from $20,000 to $20,000,000.

Bill is admitted to practice and has practiced in all courts in South Carolina; the United States District Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit; and the United States District Court, District of South Carolina.
