BIOGRAPHICAL:William T. Atchley, Jr is a full time experienced mediator in most all types of civil litigation.
Mr. Atchley was born May 19, 1947 in Sevierville, Tennessee. He received his BS degree in Economics from Florida State University in 1969 and his Juris Doctor Degree from Stetson University College of Law in 1973. He was commissioned a 2Lt. in the USAR in 1969 and received an honorable discharge as a Captain in 1977.
Mr. Atchley practiced law with the Fowler White law firm in the Tampa Bay Area from 1973 to 1996 where he was a partner and shareholder. He was a member of the civil trial section and has extensive trial experience in all types of civil litigation.
Mr. Atchley became a Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator in 1994. In 1996 he set up his own mediation practice where to date he has mediated thousands of cases in the following areas:
