BIOGRAPHICAL:Susan H. Nycum has been at the center of IT law and technology for over 30 years. She has advised domestic and international clients as providers and customers for IT products and services. Susan was Chair of Baker & McKenzie's North American IP/IT Practice Group and a member of the Firm's North America and Asia regional governing bodies. She also served as Director of the Stanford University Computer Facility.
Susan is Past Chair of the ABA Section of Science & Technology and a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. She also is Past President of the Computer Law Association. Susan is a Fellow of the ACM and a Governor of the International Council for Computer Communication. Susan has been a frequent speaker and author on a wide range of IP and IT topics and she has testified as an expert for various US Congressional Commissions on IT topics. She has served as a US Delegate to numerous OECD and WIPO conferences and working groups.
Susan is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University and the Stanford University School of Law. She is a member of American Arbitration Association and serves as a mediator and arbitrator on the AAA Commercial, Large & Complex Cases, International and IP/Technology panels.
