BIOGRAPHICAL:

R. Scott Long, Founding Partner, has a broad-based litigation practice. His primary areas of practice include product liability, personal injury, medical malpractice, toxic tort, coverage litigation, and asbestos defense. He briefed and argued Bowers v. Westinghouse, a notable medical monitoring case. He serves both plaintiffs and defendants, including individuals, privately held entities, and Fortune 100 companies. He has extensive experience handling class action litigation.

Scott also has a substantial practice as a mediator, resolving a wide range of civil disputes over the last 15 years. His experience is a litigator has made him a sought after mediator by both the Plaintiff and Defense Bars.   He is a proud member of the West Virginia chapter of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals.
