BIOGRAPHICAL:

Robert "Bob" Redding has practiced in the field of litigation at both trial and appellate levels since 1974, after serving as a Law Clerk on the Tennessee Supreme Court. Bob has represented both Plaintiffs and Defendants for 35 years, having practiced in Memphis, Selmer and Jackson. He has served on the Court of the Judiciary and on the Board of Directors of a legal malpractice insurer. He was recently selected as a member of the Board of Professional Responsibility. He is a frequent lecturer in the areas of litigation and mediation practice. He began his mediation practice as one of the initial members of the pilot program for mediation in the U.S. District Court for Tennesee's Western District in approximately 1997. He was in the first class of mediators certified under Rule 31, Tenn. S. Ct. Other than domestic law cases, he has a wide range of experience over 35 years in many areas of law, both as a lawyer and mediator, to include: professional negligence (medical, law, engineering, accounting); commercial disputes; insurance coverage; Civil Rights; employment; municipal law; special education; personal injury, especially products liability; and many others. He has extensive experience in the field of professional negligence of all types.
