BIOGRAPHICAL:

Bob Hoyle has practiced law in Manatee County, Florida since 1986. He is a 1975 graduate of Harvard College and a 1986 graduate of Capital University Law School, cum laude. While in law school he wrote a published law review article entitled "Computation of Attorney Fees in Structured Settlements: A Search for Basis". Mr. Hoyle has also published "Mediation Strategies:  Preparing the Client for Mediation" in the Fall 2011 edition of Action Line, a publication of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar, in addition to  "Preparing for Mediation: The Advocate"," Do You Have A Settlement?", "Amendment To Rule 1.720" and "Mediation Conflicts of Interest" in the Inter Alia, a publication of the Manatee County Bar Association. He has made the following lecture presentations: "How to Succeed at Mediation by Trying" and "Ethical Issues for Mediators" for the Manatee County Bar Association, "Mediator Conflicts of Interest and Impartiality" for the 12th Judicial Circuit Citizen Dispute Settlement Program, "Best Practices To Avoid Grievances and Litigation Involving Mediator Misconduct" for the Florida Supreme Court Dispute Resolution Center 2012 and 2013 Conferences,  "Proposed Changes to Florida Rule for Mediators 10.340" for the Florida Bar Alternative Dispute Resolution Section, "Mediation Conflicts of Interest: Traps for the Unwary" for the Florida Bar Continuing Legal Education Committee and as a national webinar presentation for LawReview CLE and "Mediation Advocacy" at the Florida Bar Annual Conference in June 2015. 

The emphasis of his practice is in the areas of mediation, real property, probate, business law, and general civil trial practice. He has been certified as a circuit civil mediator since 1999 and is also certified as a county civil mediator and appellate mediator. Mr. Hoyle completed the Harvard Law School Mediation Training Program.  He has completed the training necessary to accept Circuit Court appointments as an arbitrator and is a Federal mediator. He is a member of the Florida Academy of Professional Mediators, the American Bar Association Dispute Resolution Section, the Florida Bar Alternative Dispute Section,  and the Association for Conflict Resolution. Mr. Hoyle is also Chair of  the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section of the Florida Bar. Mr. Hoyle completed the Residential Mortgage Foreclosure Mediation Training program mandated by the Florida Supreme Court to qualify for the conduct of foreclosure mediations. He is also a qualified mediator in the state of Alabama.  Mr. Hoyle has appeared before the Florida Supreme Court on two occasions on behalf of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section of the Florida Bar.

OFFICE FACILITIES; Mr. Hoyle offers four conference rooms for the conduct of mediations and arbitrations. The office is conveniently located in the Suntrust Bank building in downtown Bradenton and is two blocks from the Manatee County Courthouse.  The office building has a parking garage and is a short walk to numerous downtown restaurants.
