BIOGRAPHICAL:Miles Alexander, Co-Chairman of Kilpatrick Stockton, joined the firm after teaching at Harvard Law School and serving two years as a U.S.A.F. Judge Advocate. In addition to his activities in all aspects of trademark and unfair competition practice, Mr. Alexander counsels clients in other Intellectual Property fields and is a frequently selected party and court appointed mediator in alternative dispute resolution. He is also active in the field of antitrust and anti-competition law and served as a past chairman of the Antitrust Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia.
Miles is a a member of the firm's International Arbitration Team, rated among the top 50 international arbitration practices in the world by Chambers Global, and among the top practices by the Legal 500 UK and Legal 500 EMEA in those regions. Miles is regularly called upon to mediate high-stakes IP/patent cases out of state, with a very high settlement rate. Miles lectures extensively at international conferences and is widely published on the subject of unfair competition, dispute resolution and litigation tactics.
