BIOGRAPHICAL:

Mark is a 1980 graduate of the University of Arizona, College of Law. He joined Jones, Skelton and Hochuli, PLC in 1983 and has been a partner since 1988. Mark is a past member of the firm's management committee and past chair of the firm's construction and insurance practice groups. Mark concentrates his civil practice in the areas of construction injury, construction defect, insurance, products liability, personal injury, and commercial litigation. Mark is a member of the USLAW network and was the founding chair of the network's construction practice group. He is also a member of the Council on Litigation Management where he currently serves on the construction committee.

In addition to his successful civil litigation practice, Mark is also a construction and commercial arbitrator and mediator for the American Arbitration Association.  Mark is also a member of the prestigious National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals.  Mark has extensive experience as a private arbitrator and mediator and as a settlement conference Judge Pro Tem for the Maricopa County Superior Court.  He has also previously served as a Judge Pro Tem for the Arizona Court of Appeals. Mark has completed training on protocols for arbitration, processes for a fair an efficient arbitration and protecting the award, and top techniques for improving arbitration case management efficiency, which were hosted by the American Arbitration Association.

    Rates

    My fee schedule is structured to encourage parties to mediate their matters early and to provide affordable rates for every type of case. $1,200 flat fee for state court arbitration certified cases (1/2 day), $275 per hour for pre-suit matters and $375 per hour for all trial certified cases.
