Lynne S. Bassis, Esq. is a full-time neutral with ADR SERVICES, INC. Working at the intersection of law and human emotion,  Ms. Bassis harmonizes the legal, business and personal issues such that settlement occurs. Her style, technique, instincts and impartiality leave both plaintiff and defense counsel pleased with the process and with the outcome.  

In addition to being one of the leading mediators in the ADR industry, Ms. Bassis also trains new and seasoned mediators through the Los Angeles County Bar Association and in the past has provided mediation and negotiation training at Loyola Law School, Southwestern Law School, UC Riverside, UCLA Extension, US Air Force, California State Department of Rehabilitation, and the US Postal Service.

Ms. Bassis, named ADR Super Lawyer 2007-2011, is an accomplished Mediator, Mediation Instructor, Dispute Resolution Program Design Consultant  and Speaker. A past director of the Disability Mediation Center at Loyola Law School, Ms. Bassis' private mediation practice includes employment, disability and disability access, wage and hour (including class action), partnership, commercial and family business disputes, malpractice, trusts & estates, elder law, real estate, construction and cross cultural matters. 

Ms. Bassis is also an approved mediator for Los Angeles County's Department of Human Resources' Mediation Program and for the American Arbitration Association.  

Before becoming a full-time neutral with ADR Services, Inc., Ms. Bassis sat on the following panels: Alternative Resolution Centers (ARC), Inland Valley Arbitration Mediation Services (IVAMS), Redlands Arbitration and Mediation Services (ARMS) and First Resolution Services, Inc. (FRS).  Ms. Bassis is also  arbitrator for FINRA's Securities Dispute Resolution Forum. During her mediation career, Ms. Bassis has mediated for the United States Postal Service, National Conflict Resolution Center's Elder Care Mediation Panel (San Diego), California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, US Department of Navy and Homeland Security. 

Ms. Bassis is a former member of the California State Bar Labor and Employment Executive Committee (2005-2008).
