Laryry has had more than 40 years of civil trial and appellate practice in state and federal courts,
primarily in business disputes, including contracts, business associations, franchising and
distributorship, real estate, construction, employment, partner and shareholder disputes,
banking, finance, insurance, and governmental regulation.Larry has been involved as advocate and arbitrator in proceedings before the
American Arbitration Association since 1975. He is a longtime Member of the AAA Large Complex Case
Program Panel; past Chairman the AAA's Commercial Advisory Committee in
Michigan. He has served on the Appeals Committee for the Prudential ADR Mass Claim
Appeals Program; he has served as an arbitrator in the Automobile Industry Special Binding
Arbitration Program, 2010. Member of AAA Faculty on the following programs:
Arbitration Awards: Safeguarding, Deciding & Writing Awards, 2005; AAA Commercial
Arbitrator II: Advanced Case Management Issues, 2005, 2006; Chairing an Arbitration
Panel, 2005; Dealing with Delay Tactics, 2006; Managing the Hearing, 2006; Principled
