BIOGRAPHICAL:Mr. Ahern's practice has included a wide variety of transactions and civil litigation for real estate developers, builders, commercial enterprises, title insurers, escrow agencies, insurance agencies, lenders, and property managers. Mr. Ahern has extensive experience in complex multi-party commercial litigation involving corporate, partnership and LLC disputes, fiduciary duties, other professional duties, commercial torts, business relationship disputes, and commercial and residential construction defects.
His practice is now confined to mediations, neutral case evaluations, arbitrations, special master appointments and consultation in his areas of practice experience. Mr. Ahern continues to conduct short trials and settlement conferences as a Judge Pro Tempore of the Maricopa County Superior Court, and he frequently acts as a Court-appointed discovery/special master in contentious commercial cases.
Mr. Ahern has a unique evaluative mediation process which utilizes pre-mediation caucuses and neutral evaluation to prepare for success at mediation.

Memberships & AffiliationsMr. Ahern was admitted to practice by the Arizona State Bar in 1977. He is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale Hubbell, a Judge Pro Tempore of the Maricopa County Superior Court, and is certified as a specialist in real estate law by the Arizona Board of Legal Specialization. He was also recognized in 2008, 2009, 2010 as a "Southwest Super Lawyer", in the field of mediation, and he has been recognized as one of Arizona's Finest Lawyers.
RatesHourly for all prep., travel, pre-mediation caucuses and mediation time, plus expenses. $400 per hour (in Arizona); $500 per hour (out of state)
