BIOGRAPHICAL:Kelly Henderson is certified as a County, Circuit Civil and Family Mediator. He is on the approved mediator list for the U. S. District Courts of both the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. He has conducted mediations for the Florida Department of Insurance. He has served The Florida Bar as both a mediator and as an arbitrator of attorney's fee disputes. In addition, Kelly is a qualified Florida Court Arbitrator and is on the arbitration panel of the National Futures Association.
Kelly is a former EEOC Trial Attorney where he received the Chairman's Organizational Performance Award and he is also a former HR Director. He has mediated all types of disputes that can occur between employers and employees. He also has trial experience in real estate, insurance and probate matters and is a former member of the Florida Bar Probate Rules Committee. He holds an "AV" rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
Kelly specializes in mediating employment, insurance and probate disputes. He was born in Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with an undergraduate Philosophy degree in 1977. He holds a Certificate in Money Market and Foreign Exchange Trading from New York University. He earned his law degree from Nova Southeastern Law School where he received a Book Award in Banking Law and was an Articles Editor of the Nova Law Review.
Kelly Henderson has been associated with Mediation, Inc. since 1999 and has conducted mediations throughout Florida. He has also been a member of the Florida Academy of Professional Mediators for many years.
