Over 40 years' experience as attorney with same firm specializing in alternative dispute resolution, health care, labor/employment law, and commercial litigation, mass tort/ class/collective action litigation, employment litigation and labor arbitration. Adjunct faculty in ADR at Washburn Law School and formerly adjunct faculty in Labor Law and in Negotiation, Mediation and Arbitration at Rockhurst College. Former member of the Civil Justice Advisory Committee for the U.S. District Court, Western District of Missouri; (1992) Missouri Supreme Court's Automation Committee and ADR Committee (1992-2000); Sixteenth Judicial Circuit (state court) Committee on Case Management and Docketing (2004-2006).

Rates

$495 per hour Arbitrator Mediator Compensation ($505 per hour for class action/multiple party disputes Special Master), plus $70.00 per hour AAA Administrative Fee on AAA matters. Hourly rate charged for study, hearing, and writing time. Four-hour minimum in greater Metropolitan Kansas City area, eight-hour minimum elsewhere. Willing to serve in St. Louis and Springfield, Missouri and Omaha, Nebraska with eight-hour minimum. Fifty percent charge for days reserved for less than seven days cancellation or postponement.
