Biographical

Mr. Fieldsteel has been repeatedly selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America and as a Massachusetts Super Lawyer, New England Super Lawyer and in The Boston Globe’s Boston’s Best Lawyers for his work in the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and has the highest (AV) rating from Martindale Hubbell.

For many years he has devoted all of his time to his ADR practice and has served as a neutral in approximately 1750 cases, including as an arbitrator, mediator, master, auditor, facilitator and case evaluator.

He is a member of the National Panel of Arbitrators and Mediators of the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) and other ADR organizations. At the AAA, he has chaired and participated in numerous educational and professional programs and has served on the Construction Advisory Board. He serves on the Dispute Resolution Section of the Massachusetts Bar Association and is Chair of its Best Practices Committee. He has also been appointed by the Judges of the Superior Courts in Suffolk, Middlesex, Norfolk, Bristol and Worcester Counties to sit as a Master, Mediator, Auditor and/or Arbitrator. Mr. Fieldsteel’s law practice was in the area of civil litigation with an emphasis in design/construction, environmental, employment, insurance, education, professional liability, municipal and contract law. He has authored law review and other articles and has presented numerous lectures and seminars on ADR and in areas of law involved in his practice.
