BIOGRAPHICAL:Hal has practiced Construction, Real Estate and Commercial Law and Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution for over thirty years. During that time, in his construction practice, he has represented owners, contractors, subcontractors, insurers, sureties, materialmen and design professionals in claims on construction projects, both public and private, including the Atlanta Olympic Stadium/Turner Field, Atlanta Olympic Village at Georgia Tech, Georgia World Congress Center, Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, hospitals, office buildings, high-rise condominiums, regional shopping centers and malls, hotels, MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) projects, major bridge and roadwork, industrial buildings and other large commercial and government projects.
His general litigation practice has ranged from plaintiffs' personal injury work to large, complex commercial litigation.
In addition, as a member of the American Arbitration Association neutrals' panels since 1986, Hal has over twenty-five years experience as a construction, commercial and real estate dispute arbitrator and fifteen years experience as a construction, commercial, environmental and real estate dispute mediator.
