Mr. Kinberg, an attorney with Kinberg & Associates, LLC, is a Florida Supreme Court Civil Mediator and Qualified Arbitrator.  In 2004, Mr. Kinberg was selected by the Collins Center for Public Policy, Inc. to serve as a mediator in the Florida Hurricane Mediation Program established by the Florida Department of Financial Services.  In that capacity, he performed more than 100 mediations.  He is also certified by the Florida Bar Association as an expert in Construction Law. 

Following his military career, Mr. Kinberg entered private practice in Florida.  In 1996, he opened his own law firm and his practice focused on Government Contract Law, Construction Law and Commercial Law.  He assists individuals and businesses with issues involving contract formation, business questions, formations and disputes, construction issues, bid protests, interpreting terms and conditions, preparing and submitting claims and litigating simple or complex disputes before federal courts, Florida courts, and federal and state agencies. 

Mr. Kinberg has been named a Fellow of the National Contract Management Association, has published chapters in books on the topic of Government Contracting and is a business law columnist for Florida Today.  In addition to his legal practice, he believes it is important to actively support his clients’ interests through involvement in professional associations.  Since first opening his practice, Mr. Kinberg has been an active member and served as an officer in numerous organizations supporting the federal procurement industry, the construction industry and the community.

Hourly Fees: $300.00 per hour for mediation or arbitration.

Preparation time: For mediations, no charge for preparation time. For arbitrations all services, including preparation, administrative conferences, and study time are billed at the above rate.

Travel time by car: No charge for sessions held within 90 minutes driving time of Melbourne, Florida. For all other matters, there is a two hour charge for all travel time.

Travel Time by Air: All costs of Air Fare and a two hour charge for all travel time.

Minimum Service: All mediations or arbitrations must be scheduled for no less than 3 hours. Once a session is started, there is a minimum charge of 3 hours.
