Dan has over 42 years of litigation experience in addition to being a registered Civil law and Family law mediator. He served on the Indiana Supreme Court Continuing Legal Education Commission for two terms, which is responsible for the alternative dispute resolution rules in the State of Indiana. Dan has also served on the Joint Task Force on Alternative Dispute Resolution and the Domestic Relations Focus Group for Family Mediation. Dan is currently serving as the Secretary of the Indiana State Bar A.D.R. Section Executive Council, as well as the Chairman of the I.S.B.A. Senior Lawyers Section.  He has been a member of  the  Lake and Porter County Family Law Sections;  as well as President of the Calumet American Inns of Court. Dan is an Adjunct Professor at Valparaiso Law School, teaching Medical Malpractice Law since 1999;  & also co-teaching Law Medicine & Bio-Ethics since 2004.
