Ms. Dalton has lived and worked in Fort Myers, Florida since receiving her Florida Bar license in 1990. Her initial employment was with the Lee County Attorney’s Office and the Lee County Port Authority, specializing in contracts, purchasing, construction, department of transportation, parks and recreation, financing agreements, and miscellaneous governmental services. During this time, she also served as Adjunct Professor for Barry University (Health Law) and Edison College (Real Estate Law, Business Law I and II & Constitutional Law). In 1994, she opened her current law firm and shortly thereafter became certified as a Florida and Federal mediator and qualified as an arbitrator. Ms. Dalton was appointed as a part-time General Magistrate and Court Commissioner for the 20th Judicial Circuit (Lee and Charlotte Counties) and assisted in the development of the case management system in the Family Courts in Lee County. Ms. Dalton specializes in transactional and administrative practice for corporations and agencies (for-profit and not-for-profit), contract negotiation and drafting, business law, governmental practice and drafting wills. She does both Court-ordered and private mediations.
